Botryodial Malachite with Quartz on Matrix

This stunning specimen boasts the most rare formation of malachite, botryoidal (spherical), yet is also a crystalline malachite, something we don’t see very often at all.  Sitting upon a bed of quartz and dolomite, the clear quartz grows throughout, in “quartz veins” weaving through the matrix and sparkling between, creating caverns and caves filled with more botryoidal malachite.  It’s such a special one; perfect for meditation, or just admiring its natural beauty and wonder if placed on the shelf or in the workspace.  

Malachite is a stone of new beginnings and urges the release of everything that keeps one from moving forwards.  It resonates with the Heart, yet holds a masculine energy, which is unique for a heart based stone- activating our inner courage, strength, and action to lead from the Heart.  

It is a powerful leadership stone, often tied to creativity and expression through encouraging self-empowerment and self-worth. Malachite is also known for being a “business stone”, one to promote abundance, wealth, and prosperity.  Placed in the business/workplace, Malachite becomes a powerful ally.  

Malachite can also aid in drawing out and clearing negativity in the auric and emotional bodies, identifying patterns and blocks so that they don’t become stagnant and toxic, possibly manifesting into dis-ease in our physical bodies.  Therefore it’s important to cleanse malachite regularly (if actively working with the stone, we’d digest weekly cleansing at least).
