Being a mom is a gift like no other.
An honor. And serves up a good dose of humble pie.
All the colors, the phases, the seasons, and the fullest spectrum of emotions~ all the learning and expansion into greater levels of compassion, patience, and love… the Love not just for our children- but also, for ourselves.
*
Children allow us to grow, in more ways than we know. Little teachers that come to us, if we are open.
Many times they initiate difficult or uncomfortable inner conversations within ourselves, questioning the way we were raised, so we may consciously choose to- or not to- raise our littles the same. In many cases, requiring us to embark upon this journey of continual self-reflection, deep introspection, and brutal honesty without judgement, guilt or shame… healing so that we can become better versions of ourselves with more wisdom and grace, being better, more caring, compassionate, nurturing, and supportive mothers for our children.
And perhaps even more rewarding: witnessing and supporting the development of confident, safe, seen, and loved children growing into more kind and compassionate adults… making the World a better place.

As mothers (and parents), what a responsibility! yet also a PRIVILEGE and a JOY~ Children come to us and through us, but are not OF us. They are their own beings and souls, and we are merely here to guide- nurture, nourish, empower, and initiate… so they can go out into the world embodying their own power and authority, blooming fully as they were born to be. As their Soul calls.

The peonies this Mother’s Day have reminded & shared many lessons to me~
1/ Life is not a competition, the flower does not compare itself to others.
2/ Bloom when you’re ready, in your own time.
3/ Bloom when you’re ready, even if the world is not ready for you yet. Those who appreciate and love you, will. (You are not for everyone! And this is a good thing)
And perhaps most important:
4/ You were born to BLOOM FULLY. This is, Divine Fulfillment.
(Thus, do not let anything deter, dim, stop or block you from doing so~ and in many cases- that includes yourself!)

I purchased the peonies only one day before Mother's Day and they began to open that Saturday night. I was worried they were blooming too quickly and would soon wither, rather than last longer through the week.
My mom replied, “But they’re supposed to bloom.”
And that took me right back to the present.
I appreciated their beauty and their blooming but also didn’t want them to fade so quick. So rather than my full 100% presence being IN THE MOMENT with their beauty, a part of me was not actually fully present, because my mind quickly moved into the future of worry.
And as little or minor as this reflection may seem, it was a remarkable and profound reminder to myself... because it's the little shifts and awareness that make a difference in how we continue to better and better ourselves. The willingness to pause and reflect. It's always about presence in Mastering our Mind & our Energy- especially in this 2025: Year of NOW.

Nothing lasts forever, even if we want it to, it cannot... there are cycles and rhythms and a natural flow for everything. And those rhythms may not match ours- or our wants and/or expectations. So may we remember to be present in every moment. With the peonies, and ESPECIALLY... with our children. 💕
May we continue to stay in the frequency of appreciation, gratitude, and recognize how blessed we are, with all that surrounds us. Even if the flowers are fading, there are beautiful lessons of death and rebirth— (ahh the incoming Scorpio Full Moon feels (00:55HKT | 13 May)).

The role of a Mother is SACRED.
Every living being came through a mother. And whether you are a human mother, animal mother, or even plant mother… it is a chosen path and should be held in the highest and greatest reverence.
Thank you.
