All animals are teachers, and the bees remind us of focus, dedication, discipline, productivity, and mastery- but also of community, abundance, and love. They are in complete harmony with nature, and with one another in the hive.
Their hives- the hexagon, the helix, the most efficient and strongest shape in nature (just like quartz!). The buzzing of their songs, a frequency which can activate higher consciousness and there are studies shown to prolong human life. Their honey, liquid light~ is anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, filled with antioxidants, and never grows mold or goes bad- honey lasts forever.

Bees are mirrors and teachers for us, they are the model for a world which is supposed to be… which is what could be. As each individual bee knows they have their own role and responsibility, to actualize in their highest way. It is their teaching to us, to remember that we too, are all part of the whole; and every one of us has our place in the World. Just as every maiden, every drone, pip, and the queen, are important in their own unique way, if we too, were able to embrace, uplift, and actualize our gifts into the World… beginning with our own communities... could you even imagine the possibilities.
And even though there is a Queen, perhaps we initially associate this with hierarchy which is what our own society’s are built upon; authoritarian structures-- yet this is far from the truth for the bees. The Queen commits herself fully to the expansion of the hive; but it is her role to see the continuation of the hive’s life~ by filling cells with eggs to build the population and stability through each season. She is the heart of the hive; beating, creating, and essential to the hive’s survival and well-being solidifying the its harmony through scent and sound (it’s actually really fascinating if you read about her journey).

Bee medicine speaks to our mastery- our skill and our craft, and with mastery, leads to our abundance. It is the reminder and inner knowing that we are already abundant, the moment we set foot onto this Earth. And that the bees are here to remind us of the beauty and individuality of our own magic. That we are all intricately tied together by this golden thread, doing our own things, off in our own spaces, but we all come back to the Whole, making our impact in each corner of our World… and it matters. It all matters.

In every culture, every civilization, bees have been revered as sacred, their honey, their medicine, and wisdom unparalleled… without the bees, humans would also become extinct merely 4 years later.
