AUTHENTICITY
The beauty of Authenticity is that Only You can know what is authentic to you. There is no competition, no comparison, no one else to SAY what is authentic or inauthentic for you. Because it just doesn’t matter (unless you allow it to).
Being authentic is being real and true to yourself, in every aspect and facet of life.
Showing up, acting in alignment to your values and your integrity, *especially when no one is watching.
And there is this immense inner peace and calm in knowing— that this is who you are, what you believe in, what you stand for, confident in your Self, because you have fully accepted Your Self, knowing that you are supported and unconditionally loved by the Divine.
And with this self acceptance, you carry the confidence to shine brightly into the world, and thus- fully in your power.

As babies~ we receive encouragement from parents when we take our first steps as we learn to walk. We fall so many times but we get back up again, because we TRY. We allow ourselves to fail, because as children, we don’t even know what failure is. Our parents continue to cheer us on, encouraging us to keep trying. And we keep going, even if we keep falling, knowing that we can get up and try again until we succeed.
As adults we’ve forgotten this important lesson~ of allowing ourselves to try, and to fail. Failure can be such a huge block and fear for so many~ especially when there isn’t anyone else cheering us on. Yet this is where we must learn to become our own cheerleaders, giving ourselves permission to fail, allowing ourselves to try— and the validation and worth that comes from within- rather than the external.

This New Moon invites us into a new lunar cycle to truly re-learn how to become children again… to play, to create, to return to our innocence, to enjoy life, to try, to fail, and how to be authentic, to ourselves and in turn, to the world. An honest reflection if we’re showing up in alignment to our values, beliefs, in every.moment.of.every.day.
And are we allowing ourselves to take chances, and take risks… or stopping ourselves from even beginning. Like that one quote~ “What if I fall… but darling, what if you fly?”
Because ultimately, you won’t know if you don’t try.
And trying encourages us to know what is and isn’t authentic to us.

Leo season is about our Self-Expression, the strength, courage, and inner knowing, that we are the SUN in our own Universe. We are the SUN that SHINES BRIGHTLY NO MATTER WHAT. It doesn’t dial it down one day to the next, the Sun just IS.
May we allow ourselves to be as bright as we can be too, not dialing down, dumbing down, or dimming down. Because whoever we truly are, in Heart & Soul is asking us to come forwards~ to tell the brain to take the backseat, and to let the Heart Drive once more. If Cancer season was to be in touch with our vulnerability and our emotions, Leo understands that there is strength in self-expression.

Astrologically speaking, there are beautifully supportive aspects. Both Neptune and Venus sit at 29°, Pisces and Leo respectively. Neptune at 29° Pisces will be here a bit longer as now in retrograde, but such a magical energy, encouraging our creativity, inspiration, magic and mystic in merging the ethereal realms into this reality. The intangible, tangible. Pisces energy is of oneness, wholeness, spirituality and the Divine Unconditional Love; and we are here all for it.
Venus also sits at the anoretic degree of 29° Leo, just about to enter Virgo following this New Moon. She reflects and reviews her transit through this past season in how authentically we’ve being showing up in our relationships, engaging in more playfulness, happiness and joy… This is also an excellent period to bring us back to her retrograde in Leo from last Summer~ how have we integrated her teachings since then? Are we living more fully, more from the Heart, speaking, acting, and being~ more aligned and true to who we are? Are our thoughts and actions, always in accordance to our values, pillars of happiness and life when it comes to our relationships and finances?
She does still square Uranus in Taurus during this lunation, and so if anything still needs to be refined, re-defined, or reviewed; if there’s any places that we feel we still need to break through, express ourselves more true, or in expressing Our Truth, may this new moon set that stage for the courage to do so.

Jupiter and Saturn energies are also present, and their square continues to support the ways we wish to rebuild~ in any way or form. Saturn in Pisces has been the dissolving and the collapse of old traditions and systems; which don’t work for us anymore. And with this placement we are able to rebuild (Jupiter is the planet of expansion and birth and rebuilding are forms of expansion after all)~ with more harmony in remembering that as Humans, we are both Spirit AND Matter as we have a physical body yes, but we also have our Soul.
*Mars will conjunct Jupiter 10 days from our new moon, so the energies of urgency may also begin to emerge… in knowing that we must do something NOW, to seek change, and take action in doing so. Saturn comes with Wisdom, as Father Time, may we hope to learn from our experiences (and mistakes) so that we don’t see history repeating itself… whether in our Personal lives, or in the Collective.

With this lunar cycle, may we return to our playfulness, our curiosity, our creativity, imaginations, and our joy— our personal authenticity. Committing to our own LIGHT that radiates from within.
If one Sun can bring so much growth, life force, and abundance to Earth, can you imagine if we are all Suns in our own Universes, how much expansion this could and would be?
